More than PLN 10.2 million was collected through the "Warmth from Poland for Kyiv" campaign, the embassy said in a statement posted on X.
Meanwhile, PLN 5.74 million came from donations gathered in churches in southern Poland and contributions made to Catholic charity Caritas following an appeal by Kraków Archbishop Grzegorz Ryś, it added.
According to the embassy, Poland’s Ministry of the Interior and Administration and the Government Strategic Reserves Agency (RARS) provided nearly 1,000 power generators and heaters to Ukraine.
Earlier this month, Polish volunteers delivered another batch of generators to the Ukrainian capital, Poland's PAP news agency reported.
The equipment was purchased as part of the "Warmth from Poland for Kyiv" initiative spearheaded by a group of NGOs and human rights activists.
